Misun is a nationally licensed acupuncturist and herbalist, as well as a native of Columbus, Ohio. She is a talented general practitioner of Traditional Chinese Medicine and specializes in pain relief and pain management, stroke recovery, fertility, depression, anxiety, insomnia, allergies and more.

Misun is a Diplomate in Oriental Medicine. She is nationally board certified by the NCCAOM (National Certification Commision for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine) and is also a member of the Ohio Association of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine.

Misun has been a Licensed Acupuncturist since November 2006. Her clinical experience includes:

• Licensed Acupuncturist with Kettering Health Network, Integrative Medicine Team, and Kettering Cancer Center, 2020 to present.
• Interned at the California Pacific Medical Center in S.F. for one and a half years, giving acupuncture to patients in need of rehabilitation, particularly patients recovering from Stroke and Brain injuries.
• Interned at the Women's Community Clinic and the Haight Ashbury Free Medical Clinic in San Francisco.
• Has volunteered for several years at the Harm Reduction Action Center, which serves clients with addiction in recovery.
• Worked as lead acupuncturist for three of the Vivage Company's post-hospital rehabilitation centers (Denver North Care Center, Uptown Care Center and Sierra Care Center) and assisted living facilities.
• Practiced acupuncture at the University of Colorado Hospital's Center for Integrative Medicine and Fertility Clinic and Denver Health's Oasis Program.
• Taught as a professor at the Colorado School of Traditional Chinese Medicine from 2013-2018.
• Licensed Acupuncturist with UC Health (University of Cincinnati), Integrative Medicine Team, 2019-2020.

Misun received a Bachelor's degree from Miami University, Oxford, Ohio. She studied Traditional Chinese Medicine at both the Colorado School of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Denver and the American College of Traditional Chinese Medicine (ACTCM) in San Francisco.

Misun graduated from ACTCM in September 2006 with a Master of Science in Traditional Chinese Medicine. To further her knowledge of Western medicine she completed advanced biology courses at Metropolitan State University, including immunology, microbiology, advanced physiology and endocrinology.
